New car at Motor Show?

Apparently there's a MK2 Satria going up that Lotus have worked heavily on. But no one I know is saying anything about any more Lotus models.
I think Mitsubishi have sold the tooling for their last generation Colt onto Proton (The previous generation of the Colt is the Satria).
The GTi version of the Satria is a pretty good handling hatch (what with the fettling of the suspension by Lotus), although the Mitsubishi 1.8l engine in it can be described as wheezy at best.

I drove the Proton at Silverstone last saturday as part of the Lotus handling experience and it handles really well. Unfortunately the engine is really lacking although the instructors were going around faster in those than me in the Elise (I'm no slouch!), mainly because kerbs are apparently used for launching a car...
