Great work again from the 'Foos'

I have always liked their slower songs but really get into the loud stuff.

Now they have released a double album, one album dedicated to noise, one not!

Have a long drive and train journey later to have a good listen but initial 3-4 plays are very promising.

It's fab! - I'm in "New CD heaven" at the moment and finding it hard to choose between all the good stuff that's come out this year..... compared to last year when I bought a load of duff ones!

DISC ONE - THE LOUD ONE

An hour in the car at a volume I didn't know existed on my stereo, this is one excellent album, can't choose a best track(s) but number 7? is a corker!!!!

DISC TWO - THE QUIET ONE

Not done that one fully yet, too busy acting like a loon!!

Absolutely love the Foo's

Haven't really been that impressed with the album tracks in the last couple of albums but most are great.

I choose to buy Frances The Mute - The Mars Volta instead but, however still being very good, I reckon I should've bought In Your Honour instead.

When I grow up I'm going to marry Dave Grohl.

I absolutely LOVE the "There is Nothing Left to Lose" album, but can't stand "The Colour and The Shape".

I do feel a purchase coming on though.

Got it yesterday for Fathers day

Very impressed, if only that my daughter knew to get me that CD and went to get it, as she's only 7 1/2 months old........bless!

This thread has reminded me that I downloaded it to my MP3 player last week and still havent listened to it (my trendy kid brother bought it). Currently sitting at my desk with Track 1 blasting into my ears - it's a bit 'shouty' compared to some of their other stuff?!
