This isn't a naming and shaming thread - quite the opposite, so hopefully will be OK - Thought it would be good to hear a positive story..

Due to pick up my CSL fully fettled for the trip down to Le Mans tomorrow. Called the dealer to sort out pick up - car not ready for several reasons - disaster strikes.

Now it takes two to make a misunderstanding which to be honest is part of the delay, so I take my share of the blame here, and fair play the dealer offered to give me a 525 sport for the trip down. However, although it could look ungrateful I was gutted beyond words - had been so looking forward to the drive down in the CSL and it was looking like a cruise control nightmare in a 525d. An auto to boot. Bear in mind that in our little convoy we have some serious vehicles. I felt sick.

Kept a little perspective whilst explaining the sense of loss I was feeling to the dealer people.

It turns out there are several proper petrolheads there, not just in Wimbledon but in the overall organisation. Phone calls were made on my behalf and at the last minute they have loaned me a 645 conv for the trip. Yes it will be a different experience, but I cannot stress how grateful I am that they are looking after me. I have had nothing but exemplary service from the people at this dealership, and again they have impressed me with their attitude to their customers.

I won't name the people involved, but the dealers are Coopers Wimbledon. Thankyou guys, magic!!!!!!

Thats a shame about your CSL but absolutely brilliant that they have found you something 'in-keeping' for the trip!
