Don't know much about the Falken but the Cerb guys seem to like them. Wouldn't touch the NCT5 reps special, sad because the NCT2 was great try a D2 for Goodyear www.goodyear.co.uk/services/tyreguide/feat_eagle_f1_gsd3.html

Just had to change the rear tyres on mine as one was trashed when the trailing arm let go. Could not get a Bridgestone (SO3) for love nor money, put Goodyear F1 on as they seem to get good press. Initial thoughts are the side walls are made of jelly compared to the Bridgestones which means I probaly wil not enjoy the handling, I'll let you know on my return from Le Mans if they are bad as I anticipate

As shnozz says, amongst many others if you do a search, the RE720 seemed to be the tyre of choice if you want to stay on 60 profile for the V6 S's IMHO etc.

The RE720 was the best "all round" tyre I had on the S and it meant the original 60 profile for ride height. Which was nice.
I recently had a set of RE720's fitted by Micheldever Tyre Services at around £65 each inc valves, balance, VAT.
As shnozz said, because they are 60 profile the correct ride height is maintained.

When I went to Micheldever, they recommended G/Year F1's. Had 4 fitted at £75 a corner inc. geometry check.
I like them! If pushed, I would say not as grippy in extremis as the S02's that were on the car originally - - but have lasted very well (and no, that's not Miss Daisy driving all the time!).
Can't say I feel a huge difference in sidewall softness - but if that is the case, then surely that will make for a softer ride and help get the power down better - from a standing start anyway?
Guess its what you like though at the end of the day
