Wimbledon Question
Discussion
back in the days, the last Thursday of the tournament used to be Ladies Semis day.
The last few years this has been mixed up by the weather.
Does anyone still know if they plan to work this way -subject to the weather?
We are basically lucky enough to have a choice of second thursday or first friday to go and I'm not sure I want to watch a whole day of ladies grunting (no pun intended!)

First Friday. You will still have many players to look at. Womens tennis does not have the same depth as the mens game and as such is not as entertaining to watch. The only womens players worth watching are Justine Henin because she one of the most beautiful backhands on the planet including the mens tour. Her game is the most complete and if she should encounter Serena during Wimbledon...that is the only match I will watch because it should be an absolute classic.
As a spectator, it is better to have options of walking the grounds and seeing many great players that you probably have never heard of.
I have £2,000 on Federer and £800 on Philippoussis (just because he is the only player that can blast his way to the title). Had £1,000 on him the year he lost in the finals at 30-1! Gutted
