Bruce, I guess my email's not getting through or something. The basics are that I'd like to enquire about getting the cams timed and generally sorted on the S160. I know this is something dear to your heart and if you're still doing work perhaps we can have a chat?

I'm sure Dave Andrews does a kit which includes verniers and an Emerald to sort out the idle probs and gives a bit extra ommph too.

Is yours an SVA or a WTVA?

Cheers Paul - there's lots of options, most specialists can do similar stuff. I wanted to talk to Bruce because I know he's had good results and know's plenty of options.

To be honest, I can live with mine as is (it's feckin quick), but if I can improve it without spending a massive amount then I'll be happy to look into the options.

well I have just installed a S160 engine in mine and until saturday it didn't idle on the Gems ECU and just worked on the Rover Mems ECU

Put the emerald in on saturday and its now almost perfect, but the RR session will happen in 1 week so that should sort out the final probs.
