Just watched this film.
They only had one copy in blockbusters as it's russian.
I'm quite a fan of foreign films as they seem to have a certain uniquness to them and this was no exception.
It's a very ordinary story with an extremly humble cast but i i enjoyed it a lot.
Very gritty.
It's about a muslim story: When you are born you have an angel on your right shoulder and one on the left. They both have big books and the one on the right writes down good deeds that you have done and one the left, bad deeds.
Supposedly, when you die the two books are weighed and the heaviest determines whether you are going to heaven or hell.
It's not controversial at all and only very slightly religeouse. But i think it's well worth a look.:)
