Hi all, I am so pleased to say that finishing all the list of jobs I had to do has taken second place to getting me a new toy (priorities and all that) so the jobs still need doing but I now have a lovely cooper green S3 which I picked up on saturday and despite the weather have had great fun in over the weekend... The infamous s grin is firmly on my face and I am loving it :D.. Of course sorting some of the little niggles has already started with a new seal around the roll hoop where the targa panels fit and I popped out and picked up some new headlights this evening but its all good.. Just out of interest what is the going rate for replacement headlights? Does anyone know as i can get many replacement parts at trade price and would be interested in checking to see if I can save both myself and you guys some dosh now and again.. Of course I am not talking about TVR bespoke parts but the bits robbed from other makers bins like lights, mountings, starters, alternators, brake discs and drums that kinda thing.. If ya have any requests let me know and i will see what i can do as far as price checks and availability otherwise it will take me ages to sort through all the bits and bobs..
ok enough rambling for know..
I know the S was the right choice and I love it..
Oh the noise, what a noise :D

Welcome to the S Club, it will take a while to get the grin off your face, that's for sure. Hope to see you around.

Congratulations.

For bulbs, I rate Philips Vision plus, nice and cheap from these guys: www.powerbulbs.co.uk/

Oh, if you meant headlights themselves, it all depends what you went for. I got replacement originals from a mini-stockists. About £20 a light.

HELLO!!!!!!!

Why the name change coopergreen?

Just to bring it in line with my other forums I frequent.
I joined PH in haste before my purchace to gain knowledge and to hunt a bargain.
Needless to say, I was hooked with the first I saw and have no regrets.

The S group are no doubt the friendliest group going...

Thanx for the welcome everyone . I have now sorted another couple of the niggly jobs. My super slow and struggling drivers window is now just averagely slow and closes fully and have re-aligned the drivers door. Think I am gonna clean and re-proof the hood and tops tomorrow evening.... The list of jobs wasnt long and its getting shorter all the time but none of em detract from the pleasure of blasting along with the exhaust roaring .. Have got my other half checking the diary to see what we got on in August, it is by no means definate but we may well see some of you on the 14th with a bit of luck .
Cheers again for the welcome,
Carl.
