And yes, with everything cancelled, I am a little bored!

In the early days of WW2 when it was mistakenly thought the Germans would infect the country
with Rabies the Government instructed all owners to take Mr Tibbles and Colin The Corgi
to the vet and have them put down, 100s of thousands of pet lovers diligently obeyed for the common good.
All to no avail, Rabies never appeared

I wonder if folk would be so co-operative today, different times.

Once knew a chap with a dog called Deefer...

Honestly can't remember if he had a cat named Ceefer as well, or if that bit is a trick of my memory!

We had a cat called ceefer back in the sharehouse days.

I once had a (female) cat named George, after the line "George - don't do that" from a comedy sketch*.

Had a cat called Bagheera, shortened to Baggy.

Was a bit embarrassing calling for him when he went missing.

When I trained with my assistance dog one of the other 2 dogs was called Barrington, Barry for short.
What really made me laugh was that his handler was quite posh and her calling “Barry” was very odd.
I called him “Baz”
