An ever increasing number of predominately 3/4/5* hotels are signing up to this site to secure last minute punters for vacant rooms.
The site suggests that discounts of 25-30% are the norm but 50% is acheivable if you wait until the last moment to try. Just select your hotel, put in a fair bid via email and await a response.
I bid last night, for tomorrow and Wednesday, I didn't hear within the usual four hour period, so rang the hotel direct and although I learnt that the type of room I selected was fully booked, had a deal with the owner over the phone:- on a more expensive four poster equipped :bounce: with balcony suite, beautifully situated in a quiet hamlet just above the river :cloud9: - just £65 notes/night to include dinner and full english! :lick:
