Have to disagree with that black and white statement. While it is possible, none of us have any idea about the circumstances leading up to this.
You are right in saying that Minis don't roll over unless you are really arsing about, but this was not necessarily the case here. Can't see any skidmarks either which could indicate another car/person/object suddenly causing the mini to swerve, catch the other car and roll.
Did you notice the side road? Could have been someone "driving like an utter cock" coming out of there and the mini had to swerve to avoid them.

A citroen popped out of the side road, into minis path,
My pal, happened to glance out of window at the sound of brakes/rubber, to see mini standing on its number plate (front) before completing forward roll clouting parked cars, and ending on roof.
Driver clambered out and someone arrived by car to take him away apparently unharmed.

Firstly i would like to say thanx for the quick pics that were posted on your forum which led to a lot of friends ringing me to make sure i was ok.
Secondly i would add that the person who assumed i was driving like an "utter cock" should maybe not judge until he has some facts about what actually happened, so for you the facts are:
I was driving down clare street when an utter cock in a renault clio decided to pull out of grove road right into the offside of my car, which then pushed me into a parked metro. I think i must of rode up on to his n/s/f wheel causing the car to flip over onto its roof, strangely all this happened whilst obeying the speed limit. And ironically on the same road as the mini hospital, and Dr Bob and Nurse Della were the first ones to ring to make sure I was ok.
I walked away from the accident with a cut finger, a testament to Milly, the mini that will now RIP.
Anyone got a cheap mini for sale?!

The person involved in the accident is acctually a friend of ours and we were horrified when these pictures were e-mailed to us on sunday.
For anyone who is interested luckly the driver got out and was not seriously injured.
Please think before posting things like this how many peoples feelings are getting hurt.

Can't claim credit though as it was Judas who pointed this out to me. Glad you are OK Nam and sorry to hear the car is RIP

Evidently, quite a robust structure, given the side impact/on roof situation, as above.
Sad way to discover its strengths, but nice to see you can walk away without to much injury, in the event of a low speed urban bump like that.
My son is currently on his first car, and thats a min' as well,
being a new motorist, (especially these days)
Its more or less accepted, that there will be, any number of dickheads, not paying attention, and ready to lurch out of a sidestreet into you, through no fault of your own. and its re-assuring in a way, to see, an earlier car, able in this instance to protect occupants.
