Need some motorhome pointers
Discussion
Hi guys.
I'm looking for a motorhome suitable for motorbike and kart racing. Can anyone with the right experience give me some pointers on what brands to buy/stay away from or who or where to buy from? I am located in South Wales.
I was going to buy a Transporter and spend a bit of money getting it to the day van spec I want but for the same money I can get a decent motorhome. This to me seems like a no brainer.
Any info appreciated.

If you want a built in garage then the tank stuff seems like the best value for spec,
Otherwise the general consensus seems to avoid the British build stuff, German built Hobby, Hymer, Burstner, Dethleffs, Concorde, Frankia, LMC, Niesman and Bieschoff etc is more expensive but seems better built (at least the 90s and 2000s stuff) Adria get a good reputation too.
I'm trying to sell our little Hymer at the moment and they gave a serious following. All solid wood inside too. (Early 90s) not much good for racing though as no internal garage and probably wouldn't tow much
Damp is your enemy, mechanical issues less so as they are usually built on fiat platforms with plentiful parts available.
