Insignia CD400 aux and usb not working

I’ve just bought a 2012 Vauxhall Insignia Sri that has CD400 installed. When I first tried selecting Aux or USB, I had an error saying Not Connected then the option to select aux or usb seems to have been disabled.

Ive tried disconnecting the battery for 30 mins, plugging something into Aux and the same happened again.

I’ve had the head unit and Stereo unit out to check for loose wiring and also the port under the armrest.

If I plug in a usb device, It doesn’t appear to draw any power.

Anyone had a similar experience?

How big is the stick, I’d try starting with the smallest you can find, maybe try different formats, fat, fat32. Try and find someone with the same setup and exchange sticks as a test

I’ve tried multiple devices and cables with the AUX port and USB and nothing. It’s like the head unit has decided to forget that the aux and usb even exist until I do a ‘reset’ with the battery.

All the devices and cables I’ve used elsewhere and no problem.
