Audioslave Gig - Staying in London...?

My bass player and I are off to see Audioslave at Brixton Academy on the 20th June and we thought we'd make a bit of a trip of it...ie Travel up from Norwich on 20th, have a few beers, see gig, have a few more beers, stay in London and try to go see a couple of record companies next day before travelling back.

Anyone got any good tips for staying somewhere in London fairly cheap, could do with being able to park my car securely (or its going to be a trainy/tubey/busey couple of days).
