Pulley Belts - What size?

Can anyone confirm what size the pulley belts are?

I have one which links the alternator with the crank but now need to buy one to link the crank/Waterpump/aircon compressor.

And where I can buy one at the weekend may be good :D

Belts usually have their length written on them so you could take a measurement off your car using string and see if you can get a match at a helpful car accessory shop. There's a good shop here so I may be able to help you.

Does your engine have a tensioner or adjuster of sorts?

Yeah the air con mounting brackets have the adjustment but saying that I may have a bit missing!!

If I recall there is more adjustment travel on the compressor than there is chassis clearance. I built my engine and fitted all the belts etc. when it was on the engine stand only to find it hit the chassis when installing the engine so I had to fit a shorter belt.
If you have an old belt use that to do the measuring. the belt does not fit right down into the groove so a piece of string will give the wrong reading. You need the length of the outer surface of the belt.
Halfords do the whole range of sizes you just run along the shelf till you come to the size you want. You will be looking for something like HB 887a. The 'a' is the profile size.

It's 11mm wide and 1183 long.
