Peugeot 308 satnav

Hi, new to this forum so don't know if this has been discussed previously, my wife has a Peugeot 308 sw 2013 model, after a recent diagnostics at a main dealer was Informed that the satnav unit( which is the radio, CD bands free head is u/s and I need a new unit. They quoted a price of a tad short of £1300 plus fitting, this unit is causing the EMO to stay on and can't be cleared of faults because the unit is u/s.
Can anyone suggest a solution or alternative to buying one of these over priced and technically over engineered units. Thanks in advance

All units can be repaired, get a price from them.
