Caliper removal and reinstallation help
Discussion
I didn't use any paste when connecting my brakes lines. There certainly is a torque setting, I found an online repair manual for my bmw which has them listed, maybe there is something similar for porsche?
Wouldn't worry about the fluid in the calipers, just drain it out, you're going to have to bleed them anyway. When I removed mine I removed the reservoir cap, put a bit of cling film over it and put the cap back on. Works like putting your thumb over a full drinks straw. No fluid loss.
What are you intending on painting them with?
