Paint code problem

I need to get some paint for my car but apparently the TVR code in my handbook doesn't exist. Can someone point me in the right direction.

Colour is Birkdale Green TVR Code R2803

Phone up TVR (01253 - 509000) and talk to them, I did so today and they put me straight through to the paint shop.

Can't get much more authoritative than that

In my Tuscan the code is etched into a silver plate in the boot. It's upside down so you may need to swivel your head

On mine it's etched into a silver panel under the bonnet near the front passenger side. Also has a load of other details on there so it was too big for even me to miss.

the code for my tuscan is in the boot, but the code was etched in wrong the last letter/number cant remember, is a P insted of an 8 or vice versa.
