We've almost had out 728 a year now (late 2000 car), so the warranty is just about to expire. Car is booked in tomorrow in Canterbury for a £50 vehicle check to see if there is anything we can claim before it runs out (dealers suggestion).
But we've just got a warranty renewal quote of £1500 from BMW !
Can anyone recomend another warranty, or shall I just hold on to my heard earned & hope for the best ?
Thanks

Being done by the dealer in Canterbury (Broad Oak)
They basically do an MOT style check on the vehicle (might be the same check they for for a used car that they sell?), and anything that needs replacing/is about to fail, they tell you about.
Means they pick up anything that might be about to fail & you can claim on the warranty (thats how they sold it to us anyway). Covers anything from a light bulb to wheel bearing to exhaust etc....

Well, some good news as a result of the check up.... Car was given a clean bill of health with the exception of the rear suspension arms, which were beginning to show signs of wear (although still had plenty of life left in them). There was no "need" to replace them, but as they are covered by warranty Broad Oak have replaced them. The parts alone were £300 ! (or should that be )
Bill to me - £50 for the check up
