Exige S2 in Lime Green?

Reading EVO this month and saw there is a Lime Green Exige in the track cars section.
It's my new favourite colour...I think. Shortly I will be testing a few with the aim to buy. Originally I had thought Grey was the colour to opt for, but I really like that green...if a little 'HERE I AM!!!'
Statement rather than a question, but any thoughts appreciated.

The guy who owns it is 'evo' magazine's Editor-At-Large, Richard Meaden. HIs excuse was and I quote:
"if you're going to have a silly car, you might as well have one in a silly colour"(!!!).
He said all the other colours were "too Elise".
Personally, I think it is the best option if you want a truly eye-ctaching motor-car.... I'd certainly do it...if I could just persuade my girlfriend to buy one for me...

Not mad keen on the Krypton myself but the Orange is the mutts nuts. I'll probably change my mind when I see on in the fibre though - didn't like Ardent Red until I saw Boggy's and then thought
- also the Red Exige in CreamMachines is verrrry sexy with black wheels and black interior. Yellow would also be up there on my list if I wasn't so bl--dy obsessed by Stealth Bomber black

I think the pics in Evo mag never quite do justice to Krypton Green, it looks even better in real life.
Having said that I fell in love with Storm Titanium and went for that, though nearly went all-black which looks great too. In fact I also think Exiges look great in Chrome orange, and Ardent red, and blue and, well all of them really! (even looks great in Old English White IMO)

Sorry. It was a Krypton Green S2 Exige that JCT600 had as their demonstrator but I cant find it on their site now so perhaps they have sold it.

I agree, I think Krypton green is a fantastic colour. However, I have to say I saw one in the flesh at "Storm" in Leicester the other day and it looked a lot more "yellowy green" than I was expecting after seeing the car in EVO. I thought it would be more like a Kawasaki green (spelling?).
Kinda changed my mind a bit. I think Chrome Orange is now my fave S2 Exige Colour. My S1 Liz is C Orange and it looks amazing in the sun. The metal flakes really sparkle!
Either way it's GOT to have black wheels!

I much prefer the black alloys even if they are heavier. They are also much easier to live with as they look the same if they are clean or dirty. dss123 said:

Thought about it but dont think I can be bothered now. Easier to stick with the original which everyone knows.
The Krypton Green in a lot of light conditions it does seem to be a bit more yellowy than green. Still looks good though
