I am looking for a wooden steering wheel and wonder what other owners have fitted? Which fitting kit/hub is the one to use? TR7?

Wouldn't have a wood rim wheel personally but think you need a boss to suit earler Triumphs, TR 4 5 and 6

I think I have a more recent column compared to TR4/TR5, Mike. My horn is also on one of the stalks. The Taimar is a 1978 one. I think it is the same as the latest Tiumph Spitfire's. Can someone confirm?

It's the TR7 boss you need.

This was the one I fitted to my Taimar when I had it built in 1995.

Last time i bought a Moto Lita i drove to their premises that were in the middle of the Thruxton Circuit. That way you can look at different models in stock.
I think you will need a flat Wheel unless you have long legs
