I want to replace either just the end if possible or the entire braided brake line on this BBK as it has corrosion. But I don't know the size of the hex which screws into the caliper. How can I figure this out? It's a VVTR BBK

The size of the hex ?

Measure it or put a spanner on it and see if it fits.

Remove it, measure the outside diameter and thread pitch, look up the standard threads matching that - in most cases there will only be one possibility.

He hasnt asked about threads, just the hex.

Thank you, hopefully, it will be obtainable. The BBK is discontinued and from Taiwan, so fingers crossed.

You're after the fitting, not the caliper. Unless you think they invented their own thread form and made their own non-standard fittings, the status of the OEM is irrelevant.

The thread in the caliper is almost certainly M10 x 1.0mm and would be quite easy to check.

That is where I would start & just get a fitting to suit whatever hose it is you want to use.
