Polo S 1.0 bluemotion key fob buttons

I bought a spartan 16 plate Polo 3dr 60bhp with the MPI engine as my first car today. It’s absolutely mint, with 20k miles, one owner from new, full VW history and many services from the original VW dealership. I bought the car from a franchise (non-VW) dealership.
However the car, being a S model, doesn’t have a/c (not that bothered), alloy wheels (oh well) and key fob unlock (bothered).
The salesman from the non-VW franchise couldn’t tell me whether the key fob was swappable for one with unlock buttons. It has central locking with door buttons, alarm and a immobiliser and when using the key to open the door it opens everything.
Could someone on PH tell me whether this is easy to do and if it is viable. Or should I just accept it and move on. Money isn’t that much of an issue if it’s under £500 for both keys.
