Alfa 4C Launch Edition

Hi All

I’ve been keeping an eye on various threads and discussions over the last few months. Going to view a 4C launch edition tomorrow.

Was there anything changed in the latter 4Cs that the early cars had troubles with that I might be missing?

Launch editions are a good buy. The ICE was dreadful, plus, the rear suspension geometry deserves a tweak from someone who knows what they're doing. As with any 4C, you need to see the underside and as much of the tub as possible.

Any accident history ought to put you off.

How often do the tub bolts need checking/tightening?

Heard a lot about the Alfaworks Geo set up. It’s one hell of a trek for me so is it specific to them?

Every 2 years/24,000 miles based on service schedule. In reality - who knows.

It is, but they sell the block sets as parts, so you could buy and get another garage to fit local to you if you trust them.
