Which model has the air intake ?

on the above there's the S club car park video, with some cars having a "scoop" on the bonnet, (the dark coloured fourth & fifth one's along the front)

Which model is it please ?

Not sure which video you're referring too...

The S1, S2 and S3 all had a forward facing air intake... the V8 has a rearward facing one...

If you can post the link to a picture, I can tell you.

some of the latter S3's had didnot have the scoop... and had chimera type side vents

Thats it, in the picture, there's a light blue one next to it with no scoop, are they different engines, models or both ?

Also the dark one looks like it has silver mesh in the scoop, where a car following me yesterday seemed to have a "dark hole"

That is a late model S3c , the air intakes are along the side of the bonnet on the top side , have a look at a Chimera , same design . It could also be an S4c which has several mods , but still the V6 Ford lump.

Personally I like the second one in line on the first photo, I don't know why I just do !!!!

I think it's an S3 with the later S3c bonnet, forward facing scoop but with the fog/driving lights built in
