Glorious and bombproof N/A V8 engine, they have dropped in price significantly recently which makes them a bargain.
They are quite big and the hybrid (who would buy one without the V8) has a dreadful (subjective point of view) CVT autobox.
One of the very few cars on sale today that I find really desirable. High cost but it could be in the realms of affordability within the next 4 years or so. Great presence combined with striking looks, superb engineering and build quality, and last but not least a 5.0 N/A V8. It's even relatively practical.

Full service £596, interim £345 plus the legendary customer friendly manufacturers warranty £1200 per annum.
It is a big car, there are quite a few ex Aston Martin owners who have them too, I don't like the hybrid version, why would you when you can have the V8 and the hybrid has what I consider the bloody horrible CVT transmission which one owner in particular posted his dislike/hatred towards it and I agree 100%
I have recently bought an LC500 V8 and jumped out of my BMW M2 Competition.
The Lexus is clearly a different animal but I think it is just superb.
Mine is just a year old with 4K miles and at the prices these now command secondhand ,a real super buy.I cannot understand why there are so few on the roads as every review says how great they are.I hope the reliability is to the standard expected but the build and quality of materials is on another level.
Having had many BMW M cars ,the only thing I miss is the i drive system for the nav but the Lexus system is far better than reviewers state,it’s just a matter of getting used to it.
So far,with shockingly poor wet,muddy roads I have taken it easy in the main but have averaged 31 mpg.I know,I must try harder.
These cars are stunning and No Turbos.
Try one.

They are fitted with runflats. I have 21 inch wheels on mine ( Sports Plus option) , but in comfort or normal mode the car rides absolutely fine. I understand that the 20 inch wheels ride a bit smoother still. I've had the car for a year now and never seen another on the road yet.
Thank you. I am starting to search for a V8 about 2 years old anything to look out for ? I read some paint finishes can be tricky to touch up? Is it worth getting the Sport version ? How about the HUD and hifi upgrade ? Nav seems a bit of an issue ? Are prices starting to settle now ?Just to add, I love the looks of the car, but of course the V8 engine, interior quality and after sales service from Lexus is also fantastic. I had the car serviced by Lexus Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago and it was a great experience. Lexus Milton Keynes ( whom I bought the car from) and also Lexus UK have been superb too. This is my first Lexus, but the service is so good I think I will now really struggle to change brands for my daily driver.

Its a Lexus so they are very well engineered. There are a few 2 year cars out there with pretty low mileage so nothing to worry about. Only issues Ive had is a sticky fuel filler flap that is going to be replaced by a new design and also front geometry which was a bit out and wearing the tyres prematurely. HUD is great, Mark Levinson HiFi okay. Nav can be a bit tricky, but I understand that Apple CarPlay is a retrofit upgrade from April next year, so I will be using that instead for navigation.As for colour, I went with white as I think it suits it really well. Opinions on the fancy metallic reds and blues vary,. Some say that they should be easy to touch up, others disagree.
Prices have taken a dip ( unfortunately for me) but I think for anyone buying now they will level out somewhat. Not too many out there and at 50k to 60k a bit of a bargain.
For me, sport option was a must have for looks, rear wheel steer, carbon roof and LSD.
