I recently got myself a GT, knowing it would need a new cam belt and pulleys. This turned out a tad more expensive than planned at my local garage.

Unfortunately the alternator bearings are a little noisy and I hear it’s a bit of a job to replace. Can anyone recommend an Alfa specialist please?

I use Neil Smith for both new and old Alfas, previous racing champion and integrale dealer and very effective at sorting other people's previous bodge repairs.

He is based in Pershore just outside Worcester, walking distance from the station (well, more like a platform than a station).

no connection other than he looks after several of my cars.

Also Motormech in Bham ... Right next to Moor Street car park.

Took my GT there for anything it needed during my ownership (bar one mistaken visit to a rip-off merchant in Dunstable) and they were always great.
