How do people say the '111' part of 111R or 111S?

I started saying "one eleven".
Now I say "one one one".
Or is it "one hundred and eleven".
Possibly "evelen one", or "eleventy-one" as Tolkin might have said.

I don't want to be ousted when I meet real Lotus people!

Please - tell me what to say!!!

In french we say "cent onze" meaning "hundred-eleven"
Because it is the shortest way...(2 sounds only)
Hopes this help .. but I doubt

I've always used "one-eleven-r" myself, and I used that pronunciation when talking to a Lotus ride and handling engineer at a trackday in April - he didn't pick me up on it, so I assume that is the "official" pronunciation. I must say that "one-eleven" seems to trip off the tongue much less awkwardly than "one-one-one" or "one hundred and eleven".

That said, and just to confuse matters further, one of the members of staff at my dealer referred to my car as a "triple-one-r", although I've never heard anyone else call it that.

111 is the project code for the Elise (technically the S1)

It is generally accepted (and referred to by Lotus) as Project One-Eleven, although it would appear that the 111r and s models are sometimes referred to as the triple 1.
