Anybody know the secret to getting the stereo to sound good? The stereo in my Scenic sounds better - I've tried the presets (currently set to convertible) yet it still sounds a bit poor... It's not totally important but good for long trips...

I found the sound quality to be fine for my purposes, although it is a bit lacking in bass. I prefer a very clean sound to my music, so I set all the treble/bass and balance/fader settings to +/- 0, set the equalizer to "flat" or "passthrough" (can't remember which it is!) then turn "loudness" on.

At least I haven't blown up a speaker yet in the Elise, unlike the 500w Sony XPLOD system I installed in my MGB, which lived up to the name .

I found that changing the fader on mine so that it favoured the front rather than rear speakers improved the sound, as well as increasing the bass to +5 (from a default of 0).

The rear speakers are virtually next to your head, so if you turn them down a few notches and turn up the front ones to get a better f/r balance it does improve things noticably.

Sound is not that bad during running in time...
As we stand a bit to the left (LHD) and the rear I moved the balance/fader accoringly (up for front and down a bit for my side) it is lore surround now.
I still have a stange switch. When listening to normal band, it swith to dab automatically after 10 sec of so. I do not find how to cut this.

Another ?: I have pictures of my cars but no place on the web to put them to share them with you. Is it possible to joint them directly with the post from my PC
