TV, again. I know bear with me
Discussion
I have searched the threads but my question not quite answered.
HDTV around the corner but I do not want to spend out yet. So £300-£500 (maybe strecth a bit further if its good enough) on a good CRT. I had my eye on a 28" and 32" Sony from Digital Direct with a built in digital tuner but comments on other threads through the serach on PH throwing up reliabilty issues? Anyhow, worth worring about or go for it considering in a few years time I will probably be changing. Say 3-5 years. There are others with digital tuners as well in there as well.
No wars please, any pointers from people who have same or simular makes. The Panasonic and Pioneer seem to fare well as well.
PS, not sure when we commit, seems HT is popping and banging intermit and screen looks like a good de gausse needed at times though I understood these later sets did it on start up?

It's full of TV and video nerds, Techies and knowledgeable retailers all of whom will be only too pleased to advise you.
It's like PH only with TV's instead of TVR's

What is this HDTV then?
One made out of MDF 'innit
Surely thats an MDFTV, the model MG never got around to making?
I overheard a sale jobbie say high density to a customer whilst perusing a suitable object of my desire in an attempt to get a better idea of picture quality before buying online. However, most of the sets must have had bad feeds, noisy as heck.
