Can anyone help please. Does anyone know where the ECU speed input comes from on a '99 Chim? Is it from a separate sender on the rear diff or elsewhere such as a spur off the speedo sender? Any help welcome as this lack of speed input to my ECU results in extremely erratic idle (apparently the ECU needs to know if the car is moving or not).
Cheers

There is only one sensor.

Is that as in only one sensor on the diff, or is it a gearbox driven sender?
Thanks

I have had the same problem. There is one speed sensor on the diff. I believe the signal is later split to go to the ECU and speedo. I think there is an amplifier somewhere too. I'm hoping mine was dirt on the sensor and have cleaned it and reset the ECU. Need to drive it a few miles now and ss if it still reads the fault code 68.

Cleaning it hasn't helped - the car still sometimes stalls at low road speed with the clutch dipped. Speedo still working so back to the drawing board for me....
