S bits going cheep...

I recently binned my V8S (wet road, cheap tyres, heavy right foot, hello armco, etc. etc.) and it has been written off by the insurance company. However the vehicle is still sat in my garage and has a nice wooden steering wheel, wooden gearknob and ally leven handbrake. All the bits are in good condition with just the odd scratch from use. If any one is interested in swapping out their old skanky parts for some nicer bits I will let them go for a bargain price, but I will need to have your old bits in exchange. The insurance company want to collect the car real soon so PM me quickly if you are interested and i'll get some photos mailed out to you. I'm in the Northampton area and there definitely isn't the time to do things by post. I also have the roll bar and an engine oil cooler if anyone is interested - both in good nick. Oh yes and some brand new smoked rear lights.

Sad to hear of the death of the V8S , I assume you're fine though. Another statistic, sadly V8S's are getting rarer every year.
I've been waiting on TVRparts or what ever they are called to complete the manufacture (currently being painted or somesuch) of a bloody NS trailing arm for 4 weeks now , I don't suppose yours were newish and survived the crash though .

Harry, the trailing arms were virtually brand new, however the passenger side sustained damage (bent and cracked) although the drivers side is mint.
Pete, I did mull over the idea of repairing the car and shoehorning my spare Big block Buick lump into the old girl but I just don't have the time - other cars to fix and many jobs to do on the house i'm afraid.
The car is repairable if anyone fancies a project - you'll need to do chassis (outrigger) repairs and a fair amount of glassfibre repair amongst a host of other jobs - its a full on body off rebuild really. I can pass on details of the salvage company (you'll have to purchase the wreck from them) to anyone who is interested. Plus a I can give a fairly detailed list of everything that needs doing to the car so you can judge how much it is worth. I can also supply damage pics so you could get an idea of whats involved. Like i say - I would have a go myself but just don't have the time. Ho hum.
