Pixies - New album release

Google just sent me a notification that the Pixies have released a new album.

I'm not quite sure what to make of it.

Kind of reminds me of a mash up of Dead Kennedys, The Damned, Sisters Of Mercy and other long forgotten 80s synth pop bands.

Might take a while to decide if I like it or not.

Kim Deal's vocals still send shivers up my spine.

I'm really struggling to get into this album.

I was so hoping for some up beat pop - St. Nazaire is about the best.
