Any idea what this is?
Discussion
My Omega had a mood light, inset in the bottom of the rear view mirror. Only in the darkest conditions could you see its effect. It worked so well you never noticed it giving just enough light to see the center console when it was properly dark.
My CV8 doesn't have this, but I will check my mirror casing later.

Or that the special and best ones do?
Have to say though, its a waste of space, its just not noticeable primarily because the climate control panel and dash lighting totally over power it with their bright lighting.
As someone who has changed all of the climate control / dash lighting to blue, I can assure you the green is still noticeable

It looks like people have wondered about this before. No explanation though why some cars have it and others do not.

56 plate here, I have a disco light.
Your registration year has nothing to do with the cars actual build date though, you could still have one of the earlier LS2 cars. What's the build number and date on the HSV badge under the bonnet? My previous LS2 Ro was a 56 plate but was built in 2005.Lincsls1 said:
