Did anyone see the new BBC drama The Capture last night? Touted as the new Bodyguard, I wouldn’t go that far, but it’s a typically British police drama, dark, moody lit views of London, lots of British character actors you recognise. I’ll stick with it. Saw this Guardian review which amused me. “Pretentious? Moi?” https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com...

I thought it was pretty good so far, and spent ages trying to remember what I'd seen the barrister in before without giving up and checking IMDB. Reveal Spoiler >>

I had a theory about how it was done, until I watched that part again.

So I'm still baffled! Never mind, I'll watch the second episode later.

I’m probably overthinking it, but the shot where the two incredulous detectives were talking to the female D.I., (think she’s a D.I.), looked like the corner of Eaton Square and Belgrave Place, and the aerial shot of Shaun getting out of the cab, looked like the corner of Eaton Square, and South Eaton Place, but however they did it, it drove my wife nuts, she usually has a reasonable theory by the second episode, but she’s struggling with this one.

As am I!

But having watched the second episode last night, my theory on the Eaton Square footage tallies with droopsnoot's spoiler.

I thought that the first episode was boring. Episode 3 is so full of intrigue, you are just desperate to see a Episode 4.

Line of Duty did not manage to be as gripping this year - about the highest praise that I can offer.

I know the BBC compared this to "The Bodyguard" but in my opinion, this is much better.

Also 100% agree albeit that would be undercooking it as I thought Bodyguard was pap.
