Hi Troops,
Anyone know of a 2nd hand rear S2 clam going? Car rolled down steep drive (brakes had been hot and cooled with handbrake on) and into neighbours house accross the road! only damage was to the rear clam. bugger!

A rear clamshell could cost around the £500 or you maybe able to repair it.

maverick25 - I recently had to have my rear clam repaired after reversing into something hard - DOH! -

Anyway, I went to my local specialist Lotus repair garage, Fibreglass Services in West Sussex run by a chap called Miles and I asked why he wasn't going to replace my rear clam - it had a 10 inch horizontal crack in it -

To repair mine cost £900 + VAT a new rear clam would have cost a 'few hundred £ more' apparantly.

Should have said the £500 is for a used clam that will need paint and fitting.
