Peninsula leaves for Le Mans

TVR fans asked to give car big send-off

If you want to give TVR Peninsula a send-off before the team heads for Le Mans, today's the day. ITV cameras will be filming at the TVR dealership today, 31 May, in the afternoon to meet and interview the team and of course see the race car, its TVR T400R, the sole carrier of the TV banner in the race.

The team will then depart for Le Mans from the site in Aylesbeare, Devon, to head straight for Le Mans.

If you would like to come along and see the team and car before they leave and give them a big TVR send off then please fell free to come along. Peninsula also hopes to see as many TVR fans in France as possible, so do come and make yourself known to the team -- they hope to be celebrating with everyone on Sunday night.

I couldn't get down there either. Tuned in to the local West Country news at 6PM via Sky, but I didn't see it on there. Was Rather annoyed when they didn't show it! Mind you, could have been on HTV West region I suppose. All the same would have been nice if the car club site could have said which one.

Anyway best of luck to Peninsula.

Dont panic you havent missed anything!! I believe it's going to be shown on Westcounty TV the Friday before LeMans,Interview with the owner,clips of the race car etc

Hmm... There was a trick to get different regions of ITV on sky, I'll look it up otherwise I'm knackeredddd


Btw, what date is this exactly then? And is it just on say 6pm news or something?

What, the westcountry news at 6:00 pm? UncleDave, you can get different regions of ITV on sky digital. I think if you press the services button and then go to System Setup and then Add Channels, I think you can find them in there.
