Clutch Slave Cylinder

Just for info really - I have a few problems trying to get hold of the slave cylinder for my S3 - usual sources saying 2-3 weeks lead time. Anyway just bought one at my local parts shop - it is identical to the old one and is off a Rover SD1. Will post the part number later - looks like it will need a little edge filing to fit properly but the old unit was filed in the same place also. Measured the bore and it is identical. Price £25.47 + VAT which is 50% of what I was quoted elsewhere.
