Someone posted this over on our forum, thought you guy's might be interested as well. The test was at Bentwaters on 26th September.

Best get those clutches checked out


"Thought I'd just post a note to tell you that Porsche Boxters can be a little unreliable!
The channel 4 programme 'Driven' was today testing a Tamora against a Boxter. After the test, two of each model were made available for those members of the public who attended to have a thrash around the airfield!!! Oh joy of joys!!

I feel it my duty, after all the bad press TVR gets, to report that both the Boxters suffered the indignity
of cooked clutches. One had only 1200 miles on the ticker!!!!
The Tamoras, God bless 'em, went on to fight another glorious day!"

Mine been fine for 17000 miles. I reckon, as posted elsewhere, that this could be a problem in the new model year....Porsche had better get it fixed before I pick mine up....
