Looking at potentially buying a 2010 leon cupra with 66k on it. Just wondering how reliable they can be and what sort of problems can be quite common with them. Also any tips on what i should look out for when viewing one? Thanks

There are tons of buying guides online.

Given they are mechanically (engine, suspension, electrics) the same as a Golf GTI or Audi S3 (4wd and minor differences to power output) any buyers guide for those would be suitable.

Generally buy from an enthusiast owner with a good record of servicing and quality tyres, brakes etc.

Thanks, I thought that was the case of it using the same tfsi engine as the gti edition 30, the advert stating its a 2.0 tsi threw me off and had me thinking it had the issues with the timing chain

Check the engine code or often you can tell by what engine cover is on. (But not what it necessarily says).

If its bwa/cdl then it's TFSI, if its a 4 digit code usually starting with a C then it's a TSI.
