620r owners - Gearbox whine

Simple question to the 620r owners, how much whine do you get from the Sadev?

I’m in the market for something as quick as my last 300bhp 2.0 n/a Westie, but what let it down a lot was the whine from the Quaife gearset. At first it was novel but after a while and a few road miles it really detracted from the car.



If the 620r is equally as loud as a Quaife Type 9 equivalent, I may have to look at the 620s.

As far as a straight cut sequential competition gearbox go, the Sadev is not particularly noisy. Not much whine at all, but it can be a little rattly.

The main whining noise is the supercharger.

Epic cars, mine for sale in classifieds (Grey one with stripes, and a full cage).
