I enjoyed the most recent episode (8) with STG ... the discussion about automotive youtubers a.k.a 'influencers' was really interesting.

Chris didn't exactly hold back on what he thought hehe

I've sent them a tweet to this effect - but does anyone else find it difficult to hear as they've not put it through a loudness normaliser?

The ones i've heard thus far are great content - made me chuckle a few times. Would be nice if i didn't have to turn it up to hear when someone leans away from the mic, to then find myself rushing to cover my ears/turn it down when they laugh with the microphone in their mouths.

How are you listening, iTunes pod casts are a little quiet but otherwise perfectly fine to listen to even in noisy environments.

Really interesting the Stg one and the meaden one aswell, possibly as I remember EVO at its height and some good behind the scenes stories.

I’m listening through the “podcast” app on iPhone but played through a Bluetooth speaker.
It isn’t that it’s too quiet. It’s when they laugh, sometimes it gets much, much louder.

I posted that in the Youtube thread. A really interesting conversation. STG seems like a really nice chap.

I like the fact they are long - good for putting on while you clean the car!

The website is bloody annoying, most of the links on there are to the wrong podcast. Will have to try the YouTube link posted above as I've enjoyed the ones I've listened to so far.

Absolutely cracking podcasts, I've managed to listen to the full set to date and cannot fault the honesty nor breadth of discussion, topics and anecdotes that pop up. Firmly believe Chris is the best current motoring journalist on the planet.

I’ve been really enjoying these too. Sound like a group of us in the pub, only more knowledgeable.

passes the time on the train - some interesting opinions, enjoyed the two most recent ones especially (with Richard Meaden and the you-tuber, who came across surprisingly well), haven't listened to all the earlier ones though.

Thanks - I have added the stream to the list.

....

On the note of audio quality I have commented directly to them as well. I think they are challenged by the environment too, it keeps changing... I mean one episode was recorded whilst sitting in his M5 (love it) hehe
