So I currently have this setup:

Russ Fellows test pipes, 200 cell race cats (fails on emissions!), resonated x-pipe, 2.5 backbox mod.

On my old C63, I had the Frequency Intelligent valved titanium system and really liked how I could close the valves for being sociable and getting on all tracks (90db static) and then be a hooligan whenever I felt like it (109db).

I've looked at a few on Youtube and really like the sound of Kreisseig. Anyone have one fitted, anything out there better?

IPE Innotech, just had one fitted on my M6 as there was no other Valvetronic systems for it.
Would love kreissieg but twice the price!
Evolve Motorsport did/do one, maybe worth give Imran the owner a bell or check M3cutters forum.

Thanks for the reply, not so fussed on price just want the best sound...bit annoying the K system has different levels you can pick but nowhere I've seen that samples them all.

I also need to make sure I can get on track with the valves closed!

My car has the two pipe mod - would one of these soften the blow to my neighbors ears on cold starts?

Absolutely, that's why they're so good. My C63 would get on any track around at 90db and then on the drive home etc, open the valves and unleash 109db of v8 glory.

Much cheaper to get the cold start coded out

Where and how?!? And what are the downsides to this?

It's an ecu tweak, downsides are possibly strain on the cat if it's stock?

Evolve can, amongst others, do it, think it is around 150£. Downsides: cat will take longer to heat up but on the other hand deleting the raised idle may (marginally) reduce wear at a crucial time with cold engine and oil.

The 2 pipe mod is excellent, and if it keeps the neighbourly relations intact then get the cold start deleted.
