Coming unstuck - anyone else?
Discussion
When I picked my 111R up on Friday it was a hot day, as you may recall, and so I wanted the roof off. The salesman at JCT600 rolled the roof back and ... oh dear, the soundproofing layer was all hanging out like the glue had never set.
So, slightly embarassed, the salesman found me a new roof from another car and I set off home. It was only when I rolled the replacement roof onto the car that I discovered exactly the same problem, all the soundproofing layer was hanging out.
I'll get a new roof (apparently) when I go for the first service, but after 2 badly made roofs I'm not overly impressed, has anyone else had a similar experience?

With a padded softtop make sure you roll it up with the padding on the *inside*.
Otherwise the padding pulls out form the rails and gets loose.
This means that when you take the top off you first need to turn it over and then roll it up instead of rolling it up as it is on the car.
That seems to keep it in one piece..
Bye, Arno.
