Heat /Acoustic pillow

Hi,

thought I would ask here as Iam having absolutely no luck anywhere.

The heat/acoustic pillow that fits the between the chassis and body of the car is what look likes a fabric sandwich filled with glass fibre.
I say looks like as I dont have one.

I am trying to source a fabric which will provide the acoustic and heat properties.

There is a place that will actually supply these, but I have had zero luck contacting them phone or email , obviously I'am reluctant to part with money on that basis.

I tried looking down the creditors list when the liquidators took over the factory for any clues to no avail, they may have been made in house ?

I can make one no problem but just require the material.

Any help appreciated.

Try "industrial valve cover insulation" on google search. We used to use this material that is fibreglass filled. Most suppliers will make it to a pattern or drawings.
It looks the same sort of stuff , in my opinion. Hope that helps?

i bought a new one from Central TVR when I rebuilt my car - He said he had loads so might be worth trying there....
