Anyone got any recommendations? Fed up with Eastern and their dreadful customer service.

This one's local to me and always seems busy.

Not had a BMW until recently to try it, but may when the times right: http://www.villageedinburgh.com/

Friend of mine uses a small garage just near the Cameo picture house for their 5 series just down towards the canal quayside. Very good and reasonable apparently. I’m taking the X5 there next as agree main dealer is useless.

Autohaus near Loanhead have a good reputation. Mostly specialise in VAG but seem to be branching out into Merc and BMW according to their website.

Autohaus are fantastic, no experience of their BMW side but we have taken our Octavia and A3 there for years.

Brian Miller also has a very good rep esp with German stuff.

+1 for Autohaus, they have done well to keep their standards up over the years, zero complaints from me.

I use RD Motorsport at Newbridge. Rob knows his stuff and is a genuine and honest guy. I used to use M3 but have moved to RDM.

Another shout out for Rob at RDM. He did some track prep on my G82 M4 and would highly recommend.

Might be slightly out of the way but a 40 min trip to MTech Autos in Kirkcaldy might be worth it.
Brought a complex issue to them which left myself and other garages stumped.
They were able to diagnose and repair as opposed to just throw parts at my car! I've sent some colleagues with electronics issue there way and had good feedback from them too.
