Hello all

Got the itch to to stage 3 TTS. Currently mrc stage 2.

Gonna cost at least 6k for the 500ps setup.

Is it just 100 to 200 differences? Is it worth the 6 to 10k?

Thanks

what does the Stage 3 include? What are you spending 6 grand on? Seems like a lot of money.

@ OP - I say no, I'd rather put that money towards an upgrade in car from factory (e.g. TTRS? RS3 Saloon) and cheaply* stage 2 one of those...

2x the price for an extra 20% horsepower doesn't seem worthit imo.

There are many other cars that would be a better starting point for your goal. What you are proposing sounds like a waste of money imho, especially when you consider how difficult it will be to sell afterwards.

That money would probably be better spent investing in your hair salon.

is it your only car? If so, does the upgrade impact day to day driveability? Would it (and you) be happy stuck in traffic on a daily basis when the opportunity to even tickle it a bit is limited to the rare occurrence when you’re at the head of the queue at the lights?

If it’s purely a fun car & it’s for the open road/track, then why not? But if it’s a truculent commuter, you’ll begin to hate it if that’s where you spend your time. I’ve an M6 for fun, it did 1300 miles between MOT’s last year. I never use it to commute, as the 760 is much better (and more economical bizarrely), or if the sun is shining, I take the convertible.

Appropriate tools for the job. Without knowing your circumstances, can’t comment further than that - it might be right for you, but you might come to regret it, and £12k buys a lot of other stuff.

Personally, no. Start with a TTRS and go straight to 700hp wink

Not worth it at all.

a 2.5 (ie TTRS or RS3) stage 2-3 isn't worth it either however there is some consensus that simply bolting on a LOBA 500P to a standard TTRS/RS3 and then mapping the car to suit works really well.
