I was waiting to get out of a T-junction like I do every morning. Constant traffic in both directions - its always a pig to get out there. Sometimes you get a gap and go for it, other times you have to rely on goodwill.

So there I was, sitting there, when a completely Max Powered-up Corsa comes down the road, complete with ground-scraping front airdam with mesh infills. The lot. You get the idea.

Well bugger me backwards with a fish fork, he only stopped to let me out. How rare!

And I wasn't even in the TVR, I was driving the Corrado today.

So I guess the bolt-on boys aren't all bad after all.

This happened to me last week in Hertford. Exactly the same. It was a Renault 5 with all its skirts on that actually stopped the traffic so I could get out.

I was truly impressed!

No, he can't have let you out, his battery would have gone flat when he flashed you, that's why his motor slowed down.

I get much the same reaction from White Van Men when I let them out around London. A Beemobile Coupé driver letting someone out??

I'll bring my fish fork to the next PH meeting, Jon

I liked the How Rare website.

I'm so sad I laughed the second time I watched it.
