No...."event not open to general public not in an Alfa"

FIAT owner here ,who likes all Italian cars and would have considered attending.

I was a member of the Ford RSOC for 32 years and not a single show I attended and that was a lot in that time was restricted

to Ford owners only.

Some due to the fact that all visitors parked and walked into the show area itself eg. Donington park where the National day

was held for many years.

Think of the possible revenue from opening to the public.

Last one I went to was at the Gaydon motor museum, we all got free entry, there was no brand snobbery and all in all a brill day out.

The email I got said this....

Advance tickets are available online (click here).
- AROC member advance ticket £10.00 per adult
- Non-AROC member advance ticket £12.50 per adult
- All children under 16 FREE
On gate prices £15.00 per adult (member/non-member)

We look forward to seeing you there!

So looks like non-AROC members can go.

On the AROC National Alfa day website it says,

This event is open to all AROC members and non-members who will be in an Alfa Romeo, it is not open to the general public who are not in an Alfa.

As an AROC member I can tell you that the Website is crap.

NAD is open to anyone. If you're in an Alfa you park with Alfa's if you're not your with the great unwashed.
It's cheaper to enter if you're a member otherwise you pay the normal entry fee.

I got this email from AROC:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING NATIONAL ALFA DAY

Please note the entry gate for National Alfa Day is via the gate on the A4421 Skimmingdish Lane. This entrance will be clearly marked.

Please do not try to access via the Bicester Heritage main entrance as it will be closed.

Many thanks

It had to happen, the AROC finally found a great venue after years of getting things so wrong.

With the exception of the usual idiotic delays caused by the photographer stopping every car (Older cars do not like long ques in hot weather) it was a cracking day.
