I can, it took me over 3 hours to get in from Wellingbrough for the Euro finals in 2003, no traffic control at the crossroads into the strip. People were still in 2 hour queues at mid day.

I missed out on this only heard about it yesterday. Going to book up for september though!

Looking forward to going tomorrow. Plus, I know a route that removes all the traffic other than Airfield Road

Getting there early is still by far the best course of action though - it's getting to be a big event, especially now more and more other events are having drag vehicle displays. Awareness does seem to be growing.
